So the other day I went to Target and went to the baby section as always and I ALWAYS look at clearance you never know what's there and Lord behold I found the Safety 1st Air Convertible Carseat for $80 originally $180. I thought it was a miss print nope went to check out and it rang up $80 plus my 5% for using my Target Card BAM new carseat for less than $80. At first I thought it must be expiring soon, so when I got home I opened the box and checked the manufacturer date and it was Feb 2013 HELL YA its a definate winner.

I googled to see if there were reasons why stores put carseats in clearance and come to find out this is the time of year that most stores do this. They do it because they are making room for the new ones with the designs and such on them so if your little one needs a new carseat go check your nearest Target you might get lucky. Do not call the store as they will tell you the original price not the clearance because they won't walk to the section to check. At my Targets in the past week I've seen carseats with stroller sets for $100, bouncers for like $30 even mattresses. Its worth a shot before you go spending the $200 on a bouncer or whatever you may need.

Don't forget your coupons specially if you receive coupons for Target Baby that have like 20% of a carseat, 10% of certain clothing items and such. You can get these coupons by going either to the store or at Target Baby Registry
